oslo was a beautiful city...visited teh viking ship museum...more remembrances from western civ...the polar exploring ship, FRAM-antarctica and the arctic...the akershus castle and fortress, the royal palace and nobel peace museum...big exhibit there on 2009 winner, obama. also took tram out to the vigeland sculpture park...very interesting...beautiful setting with intriguing sculptures...all nudes...some very compassionate...others borderline pornographic with all in between
saw both oats and alpalfa from train en route...dont know what reindeer eat but i ate reindeer for a late lunch-early dinner...scrumptious...medium rare over turnips, carrots, spinach, snow peas...not sure if oats and alphalfa grown for reindeer or not...also...if the reindeer have as much and as awful gas as the reindeer produced in me...its a wonder santa ever got the sleigh to afton without it crashing
