great sunday! spent the afternoon in heidelburg with tim, michelle (white) and alexa tielking. tim is active duty with the military here...just got here a week ago for 3 years. their stuff has not arrived...but they are hoping to get into their house at the end of the week. they were kind enought to meet me at the station...then onto mandy´s diner...in an old train car...burger joint...had a great burger and onion rings...almost did a coke...but opted instead for a lemon ade...had an awesome time catching up with them on where we all are...and others we know too.
alexa is a great 15 year old...she has the most positive attitude of any teenager i know who moved to a foreign country...she seems so excited about the opportunities the next few years are going to afford her...i bet she will have the german language conquered very quickly
after burgers, we drove to two villages outside of town where they looked at housing...cant recall names of villages..but went by their new home...dont know street, but it is house number 64.
michelle misses dukes mayonnaise...i will have to send them some along with lipton tea bags upon return to u.s.
I can only imagine how much you are learning and seeing and feeling on this journey. I think about you and pray for you every day. I love you!
